Raquel Beteta added: “When we work to improve the life of a group, it is not only noticed by that group, but also by the whole society because we achieve a more inclusive and friendlier municipality for all the people who live in it. From our city council we work with this in mind, and I want to thank all the companies such as Ford España or Rehatrans, all the foundations such as Fundación ONCE, and all the people who also work in this sense".

Guests attending the opening event got to see an impressive range of adapted Ford vehicles, as well as an exclusive concert by the group ‘Rock a la par’, formed by people with intellectual disabilities.

This is the 11th Ford Adapta Tour promoted by Ford Spain, its dealer network and the ONCE Foundation, and one of the stars of the show this year is the new adapted Ford Tourneo Custom, available in plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and diesel versions.

This model, modified by Rehatrans, is the only one on the market designed for public service that allows a person with reduced mobility to travel with a companion thanks to a rear seat located next to the wheelchair seat.

The Adapta 2025 range will once again include the all-electric Mustang Mach-e Adapta that features a “fist-bike” type accelerator and braking system for more precise control, a transfer board that facilitates driver access from a wheelchair, and an electric swivel seat for the co-driver.

The Ford Adapta Tour 2025 will visit several Ford dealers in Spain, showcasing adapted vehicles to real users in their own cities. Through demonstrations, test drives and meetings with specialists, the dealers will reinforce Ford's commitment to inclusion and accessibility.
